After its sold-out debut at the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival, OPIA was scheduled for a Los Angeles theatrical release in April 2020. When the COVID-19 pandemic closed theaters, it was distributed by Indie Rights on Amazon.com instead, and is now available to rent or buy at the link below.

Statues: Commissioned (screenplay complete)

Rewrite and consultation with private client for a feature screenplay examining the lives of artists from their muses’ points-of-view. Details are not yet public. Blue Prose Productions assisted with narrative structuring and restructuring to better highlight themes, rewrote existing scenes from a first draft (commissioned from a different screenwriter), crafted new scenes, researched historical figures for character background, and provided insight into millennial audiences.

A White Horse for Batavia: Commissioned (screenplay complete)

Screenwriting assistance and research for private client’s magical realist biopic, which follows his father’s experience as a child during the Holocaust. Project is in development. Blue Prose Productions wrote large sections of the first draft, conducted archival research and interviews, and gathered archival footage material.

Inside the Devil’s Playhouse: Commissioned (season outline complete)

Screenwriting and development assistance for private client’s documentary TV series. Details are not yet public. Blue Prose Productions cowrote episodes, contributed to identification of key story arcs, wrote sections of the show bible, and assisted with on-site interviews.
